What the hell?
Hi! My name’s Nathan, and I’m on an adventure to create a brand that feels like a family. Due North is currently just a sweatshirt company but I think it can be so much more.
Started 30 years ago, my Uncle drafted up sweatshirts for his friends and family in Bemidji Minnesota. I fell in love with them and fashion and when I turned 20, I started asking a lot of questions. Learned supply, design, the whole nine yards, and with his blessing, Due North was born again.
As it stands, I want this company to turn a profit to create an engine for change in the conservation of our natural wildlands. Born in Minnesota I fell in love with forests, animals, lakes, playing in the mud, and concluded that being outside is just better.
As this company grows I want to lead community trash clean-ups, local artist showcases, educational moments on why the wild is important, and push on the love for the outdoors I found as a young, wily boy.
We all deserve to feel good in our clothes and see each piece as a reminder of a bigger purpose, a bigger dream, and an excuse to blow off work to go for a walk, a fish, or a sit.
Our mission statement is as such: Creating community based on education, wildlife preservation, and conservation. Giving back to our communities, and engaging those to preserve our land while supporting activism for environmental justice across the US.
