The Ask:
Upon moving to Long Beach California I moved next door to a new restauranteur, coming from a world of art he knew the importance of merch.

He wanted something that resembled Vetements, a street-wear company focused on irreverent, fun designs. I was tasked with creating a piece that embodied his new vegan Italian restaurant.
The Work:
The client got his start making pizzas in his backyard for neighbors. Working at finding a way to make this beloved dish available for his diet.

As demand increased, he noticed the difficulty of sourcing vegan pizza ingredients. So he started making his own.

In-house vegan pepperoni, vegan cheese, the works. This is what I wanted to attack. The power of each ingredient coming together on a hype-y, easy-to-wear shirt.
